Marie Banu holds positions as a member of both the Regional Complaints Committee (RCC) and the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) for the Prevention of Sexual Harassment at the Workplace (POSH). She operates under clause (c) of Sub Section (2) of Section 4 of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prosecution, Prohibition, and Redressal) Act, 2013, and is committed to a gender-neutral approach.

Currently, Marie Banu serves as an ICC member at Foxconn Technology India Private Limited, Sundaram Composite Structures Private Limited, Dvara Holdings and its affiliated organizations, Dvara Kshetriya Gramin Financial Services Pvt. Ltd (KGF), Forbes Marshall, Mahle Engine Components India, and Lohman Adhesive Tapes India.

In addition to her roles in the ICC, Marie Banu is an active member of the Staff Grievance Redressal Cell at Loyola College and also contributes to the Anti-sexual Harassment Cell at SSS Shasun Jain College, both situated in Chennai.

Throughout her career, Marie Banu has held positions as an ICC member at the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) in Chennai, Bosch Electric Drives Ltd in Oragadam, Borg Warner Morse TEC India Pvt. Ltd in Kakkalur, Mahle Engine Components India Pvt. Ltd, and Stanley Engineered Fastening India Pvt. Ltd in Oragadam. She has also served as an ICC member at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences School of Vocational Education and as an RCC member at the Reserve Bank of India Staff College located in Chennai.
